Love in the Future is the fourth studio album by John Legend, which was released on September 3, 2013. The album was executively produced by Legend, Kanye West and Dave Tozer; it also features guest appearances from Seal and Stacy Barthe amongst others. The majority of the album is autobiographical. Said Legend, “Lyrically, the title kind of embraces where I’m heading in life, I’m about to get married. It’s the beginning of something new, I’m optimistic about it, and you can hear that in the tone of the tracks. Jake may just be only eighteen but his musical voice and soul has a dose of music legends such as Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Donovan, Don Mclean and Oasis flowing through him. He displays maturity beyond his years and it can be heard on his self-titled debut album. Jake’s vocal ability is undeniable; he has an amazing voice and he is a talented songwriter. Jake Bugg supported Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at Belsonic Music Festival, he appeared on Jools Holland, BBC radio, and of course released his debut self-titled album in October 2012 which reached number one on the U.K album charts. Following all of these events Jake won Best Breakthrough Act at the 2012 UK Festival Awards and he is now among the nominees for the British Breakthrough Act 2013. Ben has been a featured artist on musicologistblog and I am happy to see that he is getting the recognition that he deserves.
